Mabalacat City mayor asks village chiefs to practice generosity, unity

MABALACAT City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo has urged village leaders here to associate selflessness and unity with governance.

During a recent meeting, Garbo reminded the barangay officials that they owe their respective positions and mandates to their fellow Mabalaquenos. The mayor met with the village chiefs to discuss and reiterate his administration’s current programs on health, anti drugs, peace and order, environmental protection, among others. Garbo asked the village chiefs to practice genuine public service. “Balen pa mu bayu ing sarili. We owe a lot to our fellow Mabalaquenos,” he said.

Garbo also informed the village leaders of the ongoing infrastructure programs of the city government under its Local Development Council. The local chief executive earlier said that he had allotted P10 million for medical assistance, P10 million for burial assistance, and P10 million for the city’s central pharmacy in line with local government’s health program.
