Mabalacat cops nab 2 rape suspects






MABALACAT CITY — A carpenter and a jobless man, who were charged with rape, were arrested in two separate operation conducted by the city police a day after Christmas. Senior Police Officer 1 Dennis J. Dela Cruz,

warrant officer of the city police, identified the suspects as Armando Payad Lacson, 69, jobless, a resident of Barangay Tabun, and Orlando Salangsang Borbon, 55, a carpenter and a resident of Barangay Sapang Biabas. Lacson was arrested by virtue of alias warrant dated December 4, 2017 issued by Judge Maria Angelica T. Paras-Quiambao of the Regional Trial Court Branch 59 in Angeles City. The suspect was charged in court for violation of Republic Act 8353 or the Anti-Rape Law. Dela Cruz said that no bail was recommended for Lacson, who is now detained at the Mabalacat Police Station.
