OFWs sponsor feeding for Angeles City kids
ANGELES CITY — A group of overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), in cooperation with the barangay council of Balibago, has sponsored a feeding program which benefitted more than 400 children in Barangay Balibago here. Balibago Chairman Tony Mamac said the feeding program was jointly conducted recently by barangays officials and some members of the BIGO/OFW, an association of Filipino workers in Qatar, Dubai, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and other parts of the world. “More than 400 children including poorest of the poor from Balibago attended the feeding program jointly sponsored by Balibago Barangay Council and BIGO/OFW headed by Madam Lovely and Fox,” Mamac said. The village chief thanked the OFW group for helping his constituents through the supplemental feeding program. Mamac also expressed gratitude his fellow barangay leaders and other volunteers who assisted the kids in the feeding program.
